Send your new leads to Ava
Have each new lead email go to your private lead address. Ava saves the lead to your list, texts you right away and, if you want, emails them a short intro from you with your card. You set it up once per site.
Your lead address
It’s on your Lead emails page, with a Copy button. It looks like sam-7hq4m2xk9p@ava.agentmailmagic.com.
Not signed in? Text “send my lead address” to Ava and she’ll text it with the steps.
It only sends lead emails to Ava, for you. Paste it only into your lead sites and email settings.
Where do your leads come from?
Tap yours. Using a CRM like Lofty that already collects your Zillow and Realtor.com leads? Just set up the CRM.
Lead sites
Add your lead address where the site sends its lead emails.
Zillow
All sites ↑- Step 1: Sign in to Zillow Premier Agent on a computer, click your photo (top right), then Settings.
- Step 2: In the left menu, click Lead Forwarding, then Edit lead forwarding settings.
- Step 3: Choose Forwarding indefinitely.
- Step 4: Add your lead address under Recipients (up to 3 addresses) and click Save.
- You keep getting your own Zillow emails too: this adds a copy.
Realtor.com
All sites ↑- Step 1: Go to dashboard.realtor.com, open the menu under your photo and click Settings, then Lead Settings.
- Step 2: Next to the first lead type (Connections Plus, Profile leads, Courtesy leads…), click Change.
- Step 3: Under Send leads to, pick CRM and enter your lead address.
- Step 4: Set the email format to HTML and click Save.
- Step 5: Do the same for each lead type you get.
Homes.com
All sites ↑- Step 1: Sign in to Homes.com, click your profile icon (top right), then Account Settings.
- Step 2: Open the Lead Management tab and paste your lead address into Lead Parsing Email for CRM. Save.
- Step 3: On the Notification Settings tab, check that lead emails are on.
- Don't see that field? Forward Homes.com's lead emails from your inbox instead (Gmail or Outlook, below).
Redfin
All sites ↑- Step 1: Redfin sends partner-agent leads only to your own email (they come from partner-agents@redfin.com). Open one of those emails in the inbox it lands in.
- Step 2: Set up a filter (Gmail) or rule (Outlook) that forwards emails like it to your lead address: the Gmail and Outlook steps are below.
CRMs and websites
Add it as an extra email for new-lead alerts, or forward the alerts from your inbox.
Lofty
All sites ↑- Step 1: In Lofty, open Settings (the gear in the left menu), then My User Settings > Notifications.
- Step 2: Stay on the General tab. Find New Lead Alert (in the newer layout the row is New Lead Alert (Lead Owner)) and make sure its Email box is on.
- Step 3: Click Add Additional Email (older layout: the Additional emails box), enter your lead address and confirm.
- Step 4: Optional: turn on email for Lead Routing Reassigned and New Partial Lead too, if you want those leads.
- Lofty is rolling out a new layout, so your screen may look a little different: look for Additional emails on the Notifications page.
- Your Lofty lead-capture address (…@lofty.me) is for leads coming INTO Lofty. This is the other way around: Lofty's alert going out to your lead address.
- Zillow, Realtor.com and your other sites already flow into Lofty? Then this one setting is all you need.
Follow Up Boss
All sites ↑- Step 1: Follow Up Boss sends its new-lead emails only to the email you log in with (Bell icon > Settings to check they're on). Open one of those emails in the inbox it lands in.
- Step 2: Set up a filter (Gmail) or rule (Outlook) that forwards emails like it to your lead address: the Gmail and Outlook steps are below.
BoldTrail (kvCORE)
All sites ↑- Step 1: BoldTrail (kvCORE) emails each new lead to the lead's owner, which is you. Open one of those emails in the inbox it lands in.
- Step 2: Set up a filter (Gmail) or rule (Outlook) that forwards emails like it to your lead address: the Gmail and Outlook steps are below.
Sierra Interactive
All sites ↑- Step 1: Click your profile picture, then My Notification Settings.
- Step 2: In the New Lead row, turn on Send email to another address (may read Send to Alternate Email) and enter your lead address.
- Step 3: Do the same for Request for More Info, Schedule Showing and Contact Form, then Save.
BoomTown
All sites ↑- Step 1: Click your profile photo, then My Profile.
- Step 2: Add your lead address under Additional Emails and save.
Real Geeks
All sites ↑- Step 1: In the Real Geeks CRM, open your settings, then Notifications.
- Step 2: Add your lead address under Alternate emails.
- Step 3: Switch to the Custom tier and turn on the Alternate email column for new-lead alerts. Save.
- Not an admin? Your admin may need to allow notification changes.
CINC
All sites ↑- Step 1: In CINC, look in your notification settings for an extra or alternate email for new-lead alerts, and add your lead address.
- Step 2: No such setting? Forward CINC's new-lead emails from your inbox instead (Gmail or Outlook, below).
Your website
All sites ↑- Step 1: Open your website's settings (or ask whoever runs it) and find where contact-form or IDX lead notifications are emailed.
- Step 2: Add your lead address as an extra recipient, next to your own email. Save.
- Step 3: Can't add one? Forward those emails from your inbox (Gmail or Outlook, below).
Facebook lead ads
All sites ↑- Step 1: Facebook keeps lead-ad leads in Meta Business Suite and doesn't email their details.
- Step 2: Connect your lead ads to your CRM (Lofty, Follow Up Boss, BoldTrail…) or a tool like Zapier, then send that CRM's new-lead emails to your lead address (its steps are on this page).
Your email
Forward only the lead emails, automatically, from the inbox they land in.
Gmail
All sites ↑- Step 1: On a computer (the Gmail app can't do this), click the gear, then See all settings, then the Forwarding and POP/IMAP tab.
- Step 2: Click Add a forwarding address, enter your lead address, then Next > Proceed > OK.
- Step 3: Gmail sends a confirmation code to your lead address. Ava texts it to you right away: type it in the box and click Verify.
- Step 4: Leave Disable forwarding selected (otherwise ALL your email would go). Scroll down and click Save Changes.
- Step 5: Open a lead email from the site (Zillow, Lofty, Follow Up Boss…), click ⋮ (top right) > Filter messages like this, then Create filter.
- Step 6: Tick Forward it to, pick your lead address and click Create filter. Repeat for each site's lead emails.
- One filter can cover several sites: search for from:(zillow.com OR realtor.com OR homes.com OR redfin.com), then Create filter.
- Work Gmail (Google Workspace)? Your admin can turn forwarding off; if Add a forwarding address is missing, ask them.
- Gmail shows a "forwarding is on" notice for about a week. That's normal.
Outlook
All sites ↑- Step 1: In Outlook on the web, Outlook.com or the new Outlook, open Settings (the gear) > Mail > Rules.
- Step 2: Click Add new rule and name it (e.g. "Leads to Ava").
- Step 3: Condition: From, and add the address the lead emails come from (open one to see it).
- Step 4: Action: Redirect to (keeps the original sender; Forward to works too) and enter your lead address.
- Step 5: Click Save. Add the other sites' addresses to the same rule, or make one rule per site.
- Skip Settings > Mail > Forwarding: that sends ALL your email.
- No confirmation step: once the rule is saved, it works.
- Work email (Microsoft 365)? Many companies block forwarding outside the company: the rule saves, but nothing arrives (you may get a bounce saying your organization doesn't allow external forwarding). Ask your IT admin to allow it for your mailbox, or add your lead address in the lead site itself.
Outlook for Windows (classic)
All sites ↑- Step 1: Click Home > Rules > Manage Rules & Alerts > New Rule.
- Step 2: Pick Apply rule on messages I receive > Next.
- Step 3: Tick from people or public group and add the address the lead emails come from > Next.
- Step 4: Tick redirect it to people or public group, click the blue link and add your lead address > Next.
- Step 5: Click Finish, then Apply.
iCloud Mail
All sites ↑- Step 1: On a computer, go to icloud.com/mail, open Settings > Rules > Add a Rule.
- Step 2: If a message is from the lead site's address, forward to your lead address. Save.
- Skip Mail Forwarding in Settings: that sends ALL your email.
Yahoo Mail
All sites ↑- Step 1: Free Yahoo Mail can't forward automatically (it needs Yahoo Mail Plus).
- Step 2: Add your lead address in the lead site's own settings instead (Zillow, Realtor.com, Lofty… above), or forward each lead email by hand.
Forward by hand
All sites ↑- Step 1: Forward any lead email to your lead address as it comes in, from any email app.
- Step 2: Add a note above it if you want something done ("send her my card").
How you'll know it's working
Ava texts you about your next lead
Within a minute of a lead email arriving you get a text like “New Zillow lead: Jane Doe, (555) 010-0142 · 123 Oak St”, and Jane is on your list with a to-do to call.
Wait for a real lead to test it
Please don’t forward an old lead email as a test: if lead intros are on, that person would get your intro too. Your next new lead is the best test.
Questions
Will I still get my own lead emails?
Yes. Every option here sends Ava a copy; your inbox and your CRM keep working as before.
I get the same lead from two places (say Zillow and Lofty). Is that a problem?
No. Ava spots the double, adds it to the same person and texts you once.
Where do I find Gmail's confirmation code?
Gmail sends it to your lead address, so Ava texts it to you (with Gmail’s confirmation link) as soon as it arrives. Type it into Gmail’s box and click Verify.
Is my lead address private?
Yes: it’s random and only routes lead emails to you. If it ever ends up somewhere it shouldn’t, text Ava “new lead address” and she’ll make you a new one (the old one keeps working for 14 days while you update your sites).
My site isn't listed.
Look in its settings for “lead forwarding”, “additional email” or “notification email” and add your lead address. No such setting? Forward its lead emails with a Gmail filter or an Outlook rule, or text Ava the site’s name.
Still stuck? Just text Ava.
Send “Set up my lead forwarding” to (415) 417-1011 and we’ll sort it out with you.
